Altdorf, February 4, 2026 – Effective February 1, 2026, Dr. Daniel Ammer has taken over as Executive Vice President of Global Engineering at SHIBAURA MACHINE LWB. Drawing on his extensive experience in the plastics industry, he will further advance the SHIBAURA Group’s global injection molding machine portfolio and help secure its long-term future.

Together with the local development managers, Ammer will be responsible for positioning the global portfolio of horizontal and vertical injection molding machines in Japan, India, and Germany for strong performance and long-term viability. His responsibilities will include the targeted advancement of electric and hydraulic injection molding machines in terms of performance, precision, and efficiency, the development of a roadmap for current and future market requirements, and the establishment of global development structures within SHIBAURA MACHINE.
